Dr. Michael W. Prince has been a resident of the Waller Independent School District since 1988. He was elected to serve on the Waller ISD Board in May, 2009, and served as Board Vice President from June 2013-2014. He has served as a substitute teacher for Waller ISD and worked as a District Administrator for Tomball ISD. Dr. Prince currently broadcasts 'LIVE' coverage of Waller County events through the OpenMic Broadcast Network stations: www.ktorradio.com/gospel, and www.obnradio.com/sports.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Michael is a graduate of Vashon High School. Michael received his degree at Prairie View A&M University with a B. A. in Communications and is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. Michael received his Masters and Doctorate in Ministry from Kingdom Builders Bible Seminary in Houston, Texas.
Michael and his wife, Stephanie, are the parents of four children and one grandson. The oldest child graduated from Waller High School and is currently attending college, and two children are currently receiving their education in Waller ISD schools.
Michael is a Pastor and Founder of Temple of Refuge Church of God in Christ and Founder of Never Ending Worship Bible Club (N. E. W.), an after school program serving Waller ISD since 2006. He is a Volunteer Coach with the Waller County Baseball Association since 2004 and serves as a Chaplin and Vice President of Economic 4B for the City of Prairie View. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, camping, outdoors, music, and “PEOPLE!”
