Danny Twardowski became the Waller ISD Superintendent in July, 2010. Before his appointment, he served as Waller ISD’s Assistant Superintendent for Administration since June, 2002.
Mr. Twardowski came to Waller ISD to serve as Waller High School’s Principal in May, 1997 with 20 years experience in education, all in the Spring Independent School District. From 1993-1997 he was the principal of Wells Middle School, and prior to 1993, he served Spring ISD as a coach, a teacher of physical education and business, and as an assistant principal at Westfield High School. Mr. Twardowski was later named Assistant Athletic Director for the Spring ISD. He remained in that position for two years before being appointed principal at Wells.
A native of Highlands, Texas, Mr. Twardowski graduated from Baytown Sterling High School and received an Associate Degree of Arts in Business Administration from Blinn College. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University and a Masters Degree in Education Administration from Sam Houston State University.
Mr. Twardowski is married and the father of three children. All three children graduated from Waller High School.

Assistant Superintendent for Administration
Kevin Moran was named as the Assistant Superintendent for Administration for Waller ISD in June, 2012. Prior to being named Asst. Superintendent, Mr. Moran served as the Program Director for the 21st Century After School Grant in Waller ISD. Mr. Moran has 23 years of experience in education and has served in Diboll ISD and Fort Bend ISD as a high school principal. Mr. Moran also has high school assistant principal and secondary school level classroom teacher experience.
Mr. Moran participates in several professional organizations, including the Texas Association of School Business Officials, the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals, and the National Association of Secondary School Principals. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Bloomsburg State University in Pennsylvania and he completed his Master of Science in Education at the University of Houston.
Mr. Moran is married and the father of two children.

Assistant Superintendent for Finance
Mike Marcus became the Waller ISD Assistant Superintendent for Finance in July 2001. Before coming to Waller, he had 24 years experience in school business and finance in Port Arthur ISD, East Chambers CISD, LaVernia ISD, and Wimberley ISD. He received both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Business from Lamar University in Beaumont and is a Certified Public Accountant.
