Waller ISD Bond Passes Making Historic Milestone with Voter Support

The Waller Independent School District (Waller ISD) Board of Trustees unanimously approved calling a bond election for November 3, 2015 during a regular called meeting on Monday, August 10.
  The $71,320,000 bond referendum was recommended by the Waller ISD Citizens’ Planning Committee, and is anticipated to meet the needs through the year 2018. The bond package includes safety and security enhancements including new security cameras, data storage servers, and electronic access control card readers district-wide.
   To address student growth, the bond package includes a new elementary school, classroom additions at Roberts Road Elementary School, career and technical education and agriculture facilities expansion at Waller High School, school sites, and portable classrooms.
   Additionally, the bond package includes new technology infrastructure, classroom and lab computer equipment for teachers and students, and wireless access points density. Pupil transportation buses and additional bus parking spaces will also be included.

   To address physical education and athletics needs, the bond package includes a four lane running track and tennis court facilities for W.C. Schultz Junior High School as well as crushed concrete parking additions at the Waller ISD Stadium.
   The bond package will also address existing facility improvements which include mechanical HVAC and electrical power distribution panels and control systems at W.C. Schultz Junior High School, Waller Junior High School, Waller High School, and Roberts Road Elementary, as well as new flooring at Roberts Road Elementary School.  More
